Gone MV with RZA, Kobra Khan & James Black

The new MV for Justin’s b-side track Gone has been released!  Justin recorded Gone last year with RZA, Kobra Khan and James Black as a tribute to film editor Sally Menke, who passed away during a hike and was known for her work with Quentin Tarantino.  Check out the video below:

Don’t you love the way that this was shot?!  Definitely one of the cooler MVs – we get to see sides of Justin that haven’t been explored much in his past videos.  What do you guys think?

Also, here’s a link to one of the first performances of the original version of Gone- see the evolution!

P.S. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUSTIN!!!!!!!!!

Justin announces “Heartless” duet with India.Arie!

Update: Alfine sent in the video that she took at the HOB Boston show.  Please see below.  Thanks again, Alfine!

Happy Friday/weekend everyone!!!  Here’s some awesome news: if you attended a show this past week, then you may have noticed Justin mentioning the re-recording of “Heartless” with India.Arie.

Thanks to Alfine for letting us know! :) She attended the HOB Boston concert on February 12 and thought she heard the same thing, but we finally found a video from the Philly concert to confirm it.

@ The Trocadero in Philadelphia on February 14 (@approximately the 4:15 mark):

Sorry that the quality isn’t that great, but it’s the only YouTube video that we were able to find.  If you listen carefully, you can hear him say “India Arie”.  Is anyone else just as excited!? :)
