Inspiration – Maria G.

It’s nearly impossible to try and put into words what Justin and his music has done for me and my life in a single entry. Some of it’s too personal. Some, I think I’m still in the process of trying to understand as I continue on this journey of life. I remember the first time I heard that voice…that song…it may have been 3 o’clock in the morning, but there was something absolutely captivating about “After Tonight.” I think I ordered Holly within the next week and for months it was all I listened to. Then I began stumbling upon recordings and different songs that Justin had recorded amongst his days. No two performances were the same. Each performance was so raw…so real. And then I found I Don’t Know. I couldn’t seem to listen to anything else. For once, I felt like somebody, somewhere…I don’t know…understood?

Encounter – Ashlei L.’s Experience in Cleveland, OH

Ashlei and JustinMeeting Justin Nozuka

The day was April 6th. After much contemplation and a couple of scares (on whether or not I would be able to make it to the concert) I knew today I was going to the much anticipated, by myself, Justin Nozuka concert in Cleveland Ohio. Oh and trust me much was given up for this, for example and entire day of class at the Ohio State University and money for a rent-o-car but I would do this again in a heart beat and I am writing to tell you why. So I decided to wake up and hit the road at 7 am (yes, I wanted to be the first one in line) on the day of the concert, hit the road for a 150 mile 2 hour and 35 minute drive (according to MapQuest), which had been my longest self driven ride to date.

Encounter – Braden K.’s Experience in Dallas, TX

Justin and BradenWhen I met Justin in Dallas, Texas..it was an experience I’ll never forget. It was the best concert i’ve been to and standing front row made it so much better. There’s something about this guy that gets you every time. Being in his presence and talking to him definitely put it all into perspective for me. His voice is beautiful, his lyrics are deep, and he has this way of emotionally connecting you to his songs. I’ll admit that i have a major crush! He deserves to go far and show LOVE to the world. Love you Justin, always a fan:) -BK
